Journal 11.

My topic is Film Music. I am really interest about this areas. However, I cannot do research every area. So, I will research sound effects, soundtrack(recordings), functions and history. I have some questions:

* When movie directors start to use music in the movie?

* Who was used music first?

* What is sound effects?

* How can sound engineers insert effects in movie?

* How can sound effects affect to every scene?

* What is the soundtrack?

* What is the function of film music?

I alrealy know film music is one of important parts in movie, so it is really necessary for making movies perfectly to directors. And movie is needed a lot of sound effects because cameras cannot record every sound well. So, they record sound again when they finished editing movies. Also, soundtrack is another name of film music. Filme music is called different names such as film socring, soundtrack, or film msuic.

I really want to learn about this area because my dream is making film music. Maybe this research paper will help me to know film music more.

Journal. 10 : Advice

When I was a freshmen in College, I suffered some depressions because studying music was so difficult to me. That time, I really wanted to give up studying music. However, my teacher who taught me before I entered the university gave advice to me. Her advice made me to have confidence. She told me you already made a miracle that entered the university by studying hard, so I trust if you effort to study hard in university times, you will be made another miracles. I think I do not have any talent about music, so always I have a question why I study music since I started music study. I do not find an answer yet.

Among my friends, I always a counselor. If they have some problems, they always call to me even mid-night. Sometimes, they make me so tired, but I usually enjoy to listen their problmes and to give advice to them. one or two months ago, my friends had a problem with making a boyfriend. That time, I gave some advice and now they became a couple. These days, even her boyfriend asks something to me. Even though, I always give advice to them, I also learn something while talking with them.

I think giving or receiveing advice is necessary for people to have problems because sometimes solving problems are difficult to people by own thinkings. However, someone give advice to them, it can help them to solve problems easily.

Could you give me some advice to finish TOEFL? T.T

American Food.

Honestly, I never think what is the traditional American food. I think hamburger are the one of famous traditional American food, so if my friend ask me to go eating American food, it means going to hamburger restaurants such as MacDonald or Burger King. In addition, fan cakes and stakes are also the famous traditional American food, also.

I think American food is really similar with Europe countires' food because they also love to eat meat, beef, or bread. But I do not know why American people become more fat than Europe countries.

Moreover, American food is really salty than my counrty's food. Salty food also make american people to become obesities. These days, of course, Korean food culture accepts other countries' food, so we also love to eat American food because we live hatic lives and it is really convenient. However, in my country, we still think nutritions are more important than convenient, so we spend more time to cook. But in America, they like to eat fast food because it is really convienent for eating and they do not need to spend too much time for cooking or eating food. Even though they know fast food is not good for their healthy, they enjoy to eat that. I think Amercian food like drugs that I cannot quit if I try to eat one time.

I love to eat American food especially hamburgers, but I made a decision to reduce eating it after I watched movie called "Obesity in America" in last composition class.

Journal 8.

This quote means people who think about something positively can find every opportunity in every difficulty situation, but people who think about something negatively find the difficulty in every opportunity.

I agree with it because if I think some situations negatively, it always makes me nothing to do, so I always try to have good thinkings in my life. However, it is so difficult for me to make positive thinking. I don't know why. These days, I am so pessimistic because I don't pass the TOEFL yet. Taking TOEFL always makes me negatively. But since today, I want to change my thinking from pessimistic to optimistic. I can do it!!!

Journal 7.

When I met my friends first time, we did not have any embrassment. I don't know how we became best friends. We just became best friends. As time goes by, my friends and I knew we have a lot of commons in personalities. We love to talk, eat, drink, or take a trip. Because we have a lot of commons, it is really easy for us to make decisions what we will do. However, if we have some problems, conflicts or fights about something, it is really hard for us to slove situations because it is difficult for us to sorry. I don't know why. But usually, when we turn round 1 or 2 minutes, we forget everything. We are so simple.

We have same blood types, so we cannot decide to go to some places for eating, talking, or spending time. Moreover, we have a same religion, so we can share our thinking, life, and problems. I think haveing a same religion is really good for us to become best friends because it help us to know each other really deeply. And we have a same major, also. Always we can help each other in music. It also makes us to become one.

"Friend is my second self." I love this sentence and I love my friends. I miss them so much.

Journal 6.

Do you know a movie called "Stuart Little." This movie has silly story, but I love it because it show me to impossible things. Can you imagine that pet is possible to talk and have their own thinkings? This movie shows everything to us what would happen if animals could speak. They can play games, share thinkings, go shopping together.

If animals can talk with me, I want to ask how about their lives because I think their lives are sometimes really peaceful. They do not anything just sleep a whole day. So, if they can do everything a day, what they want to do? And how can they think about human?

Christina Aguilera - "Beautiful"

One of favorite songs is "Beautiful" that Christina Aguilera sang. This song has really good lyrics. even though, this lyrics was wrote about broken relationship with love, but also I can have a rosy message. My favorite part of lyrics is "Don't you bring me down today." When I listen to this song, I always make a lot of good decisions that I can do everything, anybody can't bring me down, and I am strong. I don't know when I listen to this song first, I think I listened to it in radio. These days, I still love listening to the song.
